Guys,
Enjoyed yesterday despite the 15-4 hammering we got. Though we collapsed in the second period we played a strong 1st & 3rd.
In the 1st period we outplayed them but great goalkeeping from Lee (hate to say that) gave the Warriors a chance to get their game working.
Highlights for me were the 3rd pair of wingers (Andy & Mac) the rookies who were only on for 1 goal against... excellent!! Also, the fact we took no penalties (save for Wellsy's scuffle) showed we can play disciplined hockey.
Also, our keepers were not the fault of any of the goals and played solid. Bristol just outworked us and got as deserved win.
We'll have Bristol back in our barn in a few weeks for the re-match.
