Woody, I am loving the idea here - esp the two leagues (Rookie and The Bigs) - gives us rookies something to play in whilst also having something to aim for and make "The Bigs" team roster.
How many other teams have "Rookie" type team though?
I take it we are gonna enter 2 teams here. Looking forward to the New Year now guys - lets get this thing going ;D

Woody, fantastic idea and well done to all those involved in the setup. Can't wait for this to get going and looking forward to seeing the titans going for some more silverware come the new year.

woody the site looks even better now its complete, amazing idea, i bet every team will jump at the chance. with the league standings will there be 2 league tables when teams commit such as pros and rookies.

Just been on the Summer Cup Website and a few people have raised questions concerning insurance for the league and whether it will be recognised by the EIHA. May want to head on there and answer a few of them

Cheers JP - Have posted a note there to head off some of the negs. Great news on the EIHA as they are behind the initiative in principle but just want to make sure it doesn't affect any IIHF or EIHA rules or objectives. The EIHA rep was very posiive & had loads of experience. I'm excited!

Regarding the Titans and The Rec the club should go through a process of deciding to enter 0,1 or 2 teams. The concept has caught everyone as a bit of surprise at the same time! I think an open team meeting to get views would be a good idea - and soon!
