The Rink and Eagles have confirmed that the next game for a Titans team will be Titans Select V Eddies Eagles Select 20/11 after the Devils - Racers Game In Benefit of Children In Need and the Sorac rink fund. Ice is booked and more details to follow......  |

Can you let us know what "select" implies? We need to make sure the teams are balanced so that it's a good match to play & watch. I think it fair that those guys who dressed but didn't play in the SC Finals get first crack at the lineup. After that we'll lean towards rookies.

Woody Hubbs and I have discussed it pretty much at length. The Eagles are a mixed bag of player ability, with about 40% reasonable players, i.e. our first line people like Jason Davies, the Bailey twins and Stu, and then 50-60% not-so-good skaters/players, like myself, John Ions and a couple of others who have been playing less than a year. A couple of the team also still don't skate backwards so well. We're not an amazing team, and we're just out to have a bit of fun. As you know, the Eagles team is pretty much a closed shop - there are only 22 of us in total, and we'll be pushing to get 4 lines. The only wild card in the pack will be Teefa, who may or may not be icing for the Eagles, depending on what he feels like on the night after the London game. HTH T.D. |

We have a number of matches coming up in Nov, Dec & Jan. We'll share out the netminding duties evenly. Regardless, if you can play for the Eagles then fine by me.

Hola, Jason here, I've been asked by John Ions to ice for Ed's eagles like I did against the uni and devils. My loyalties will always be with the Titans, but I cannot help to think that regardless of the side we ice against the eagles, it will be a whitewash. If I ice for the eagles it will solely be in a "support" role to a "sponsor" of the devils. Woods... hopefully I will have spoken to you about this by the time that most read this post (as you are all due on the ice in approx 30 mins  ) Ciao JJ |

we avent gotta draft in ex devils 2 cum and do our dirty work weve got quality players of our own. i mean if you'd just seen the summer cup final you'd know exactly wot i mean. you know it makes sense!!!
