KINGSTON COBRAS TOURNAMENT 2010 Once again Kingston Cobras Ice Hockey Club are staging their annual tournament on the weekend of Saturday 5st June - Sunday 6th June 2010. It will cost £375 to enter your team, which will be non-refundable. (A £100 deposit may be asked for to secure your teams entrance). Priority will be offered to teams who entered the last tournament in 2009. The format will be the same as previous years with a maximum of 10 teams entering. Teams are split into two groups of five with teams in Group A playing teams in Group B. Meaning each team will play 5 qualify games (2x17mins running clock per game). We will once again be using the ‘Jonkers’ rules system meaning there will be no stoppages in play. Points are awarded for period wins (1 point per period) and game wins (2 points). Please note the tournament is played as a checking tournament. We have put together a number of videos on our website www.kingstoncobras.com/tournament/jonkers-rules to illustrate how ‘Jonkers’ Rules work. Any questions please contact me on: 07966675525 Yours in Hockey, Andy Daintith Coach Kingston Cobras If your team is interested in entering you can also email me on:- daintith23@daintith23.karoo.co.uk

i love this tourney. much better than the "national" tournament in sheffield with their 15 minute games. and its a great town for drinking apparently......( i cant remember ) the holiday inn at the harbour do great rates if booked in advance and its in walking distance to the rink and town centre. one hold back though, wedding crashing is not allowed LOL
